The first year is usually celebrated with something small and sentimental. A keyring with the wedding date, or a little sign with both names for the hallway, does more than another bunch of flowers — and it's still there on the tenth.
Long marriages deserve something with weight. A bust sculpted from a wedding photo, or a sign carrying the date and the place, turns an old print into something that sits on the mantelpiece. Grandkids tend to find these more interesting than a photo album.
